Stainless steel lids provide a ‘longer life’ alternative to tin-plated lids because the tin-plated lids have a tendency to rust. Stainless steel lids should be used for all high acid preserves, including pineapple and pickles. These Size 4 stainless steel lids are perfect for Fowler Vacola bottles sizes 31, 36 and 65. Lids are available in a pack of 12.

Simple To Use:

  • Place lid on the bottle on top of the preserving ring and secured with a clip.
  • Your lid will apprear convex prior to preserving.
  • Once you have completed the preserving process, the lid will change to concave, indicating the vacuum seal has formed.
